The Benefits
of Making the Link With Your Soul
We are living in an accelerated time of
change. Having a link with our soul is important as
jobs become obsolete, earth changes occur and even the nature
of our relationships change. Having an inner dialog
with our soul can make these changes flow with more ease.
Very often when we’re at parties
we ask each other: What do you do? The answers are
usually something like: I am a doctor, a lawyer, a healer
and so on. As we establish a stronger connection with our
Soul our reference point for who we are and why we are here
becomes different. Then when life changes occur we
are able to be less devastated because we no longer have
an attachment to an outer identification of who we are.
The statistics are quite high for incidences
of death within a year of retirement particularly for men. This
is because their identification has been with their jobs. Who
we are is not our job. If we are only identifying ourselves
with the jobs we do and the roles we play in this world
then we are living from a fragmented consciousness.
There are many hidden elements from the
invisible realms of spirit that can influence and actually
impede our full expression in our physical reality. Everything
in our world has an impact on us. Those things we experience
while in the womb, the circumstances surrounding our birth
and choices we make in reaction to our early childhood set
the stage for how we interact with others though out our
lives until we learn something different. In some relationships
we are just repeating the dynamics we experienced in our
families in the beginning years of our life. This can have
both positive and negative impact on our relationships with
friends and intimate partnerships.
Wherever we had to disconnect from our
natural expression we learned to live from a false identity. All
the organizations and systems we participate in teach us
how to be and do things in a particular way. This can
be counterproductive to us manifesting the intent of our
Soul. The more we are following another’s system
we are actually living from someone else’s interpretation
of who we are and what we should be doing until we learn
something different.
The coping mechanisms we created to fit
into our family or societal systems become our addictions
blocking us from the feelings we had when we were cut off
from being able to express our heart’s desire.
Most of our healing systems come from an
interpretation from our human self as to what a Soul is. It
is only when we make the link with our soul that we awaken
our authentic self and are able to receive a complete healing
and vision for our lives. Then we are able to transform
completely the addictive patterns that come from a disconnection
between the limitation of our human mind and the intent
of our Soul for this lifetime.
There are many benefits in engaging our
soul to do the work of healing and aligning our life. These
are just a few of them:
